Microsoft’s standard Business Central Sustainability functionality focuses on sustainability data such as emissions, water, energy, and waste.
The TRIMIT Sustainability App adds a more detailed layer for sustainability certificate management in Business Central. It is designed to support the practical handling of certificate records, validity periods, related documentation, connections to products and vendors, and links to business transactions.
Certificates can be linked to products, masters, vendors, and, when relevant, also managed on item level, including individual components. Documents and images can be attached directly to certificate records, making it easier to keep all relevant information together.
The app is not limited to certificates alone. It can also support follow-up on supplier requirements such as Code of Conduct documentation, audit references, and related compliance records.
